Icelandic is the national language of Iceland. It is spoken by 250,000 people in Iceland. It's a Germanic language. Nouns have four cases: nominative, accusative, dative and genitive. Icelandic nouns can have one of three grammatical genders: masculine, feminine or neuter. There are two main declension paradigms for each gender: strong and weak nouns, and these are further divided into subclasses.
